Jukebox Bookman was the first version of Bookman to be faithful to the original, packing in all of the swash variants and alternates for each weight. Added bonus characters not found in any previous version of these faces are also included for extra typographic flavor and versatility.Jukebox Bookman was created by Jason Walcott and based on the original designs of Alexander C. Phemister and Chauncey H. Griffith.
This OpenType version of Bookman rolls all the alternate swash features of the TrueType and Postscript versions of this font into one convenient OT package. That means a complete set of swash caps, plus alternates for most letters. The different swash variants can be found in the Glyph palette and also can be activated in the OpenType palette under “Swash”, “Stylistic Alternates”, “Titling” and “Discretionary Ligatures” features. This version also includes ligatures, swash alternates for many lowercase letters, fractions, old style numerals and language support for Western and Central European languages.
